Review of White Box 914 PC-BotPosted 10 Jun 2005 at 15:07 UTC by steve
Timster over at Mobile Robotics managed to get
his hands on a White Box model
914 PC-Bot before us and has written a nice
review. There are lots of photos of the exterior and interior as
well descriptions of what it can do. Tom Burick
of White Box has been working on getting the PC-Bot to market for a long
time so it will be interesting to see how they do. For more see our many previous stories on the White Box
PC-Bots.
This looks like a great platform to work with. Reminds me of the early
days when the RB5X, Androbot and the Hero were the mainstream robots but
now with a lot more brain power. I couldn't see on the website under the
options on whether this includes an arm, a must have for a mobile robot.
How else can it fetch beer? (not a rhetorical question)
