The Washinton Post recently ran an article about the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, NC where a Pyxis HelpMate Robotic Courier named TOBOR has recently been employed. TOBOR moves drugs and other articles from the hospitals pharmacy to other parts of the hospital. TOBAR works 24/7 making sure the right patients get the right drugs. Nurse Week published a similar account of the Danbury Hospital in Connecticut which has two HelpMate robots, Rosie and Roscoe; and the UCSF Medical Center which has three robots, Elvis, Lisa Marie and Madonna.
