| SPR (Stationary Phototrophic Robot) is a static robot that has one dc motor(1.5-3vdc motor) and spins left looking for light once it finds light it stops then when the source goes away it spins again.SPR has no gear reduction ,the motor's speed is controled by a motor speed controler and the motor is cut on and off by a 3v vdc dpdt relay.SPR senses light using a photo- cell.SPR is powered by four AA batteries.
Cost to build:$7.99 thats for the perf board,motor speed controler,and the relay,everything else i had already. Time to build:on and off for about 5 weeks. Date finished:august/1/2004 SPR has no cpu it is controled by discrete components. |
