The Bot was built out of odds and ends; from around the workshop. (a few "new" items, too:)
The Bot has Ultrasonic sensors, an IR CCD Camera, Pentium Motherboard, Hard Drive, Floppy drive,Sound card..the OS is Win95. the Drive system runs PWM to control the two wheels. The Bot is autonomous, but can also be controlled by a remote PC, using a wireless 900Mhz networking unit. The large "Eyes" can follow movement, left to right. The Head/Neck uses 3 Servos, to allow 4 degrees of movement. It has taken about two years time, off and on, to complete; and now it's time for an upgrade!:)
