Nina Vir writes, I am currently working on a project called "Love Hacking", a short documentary which follows the story of Tim Heath, a robot inventor who falls in love over the Internet and journeys to Nepal to meet his fiance for the first time. There's also a Love Hacking Facebook page. Another robot-related documentary that we've talked about before is BOTS High, about high school students competing in the remote controlled vehicle destruction matches of BattleBots. Joey Daoud, the producer, wrote to let us know that a free, worldwide screening of the film is planned for 6 October. And, staying with the topic of robot films, Travis sent a video of "post apocalyptic mahem" by LA artist Christian Ristow that includes some flame-throwing robotic action, apparently part of a marketing campaign for Whiskey. Know any other robot news, gossip, or amazing facts we should report? Send 'em our way please. And don't forget to follow us on twitter.
