Obama Announces AMP at CMU

Yesterday morning, June 24th, President Obama spoke at Carnegie Mellon University announcing the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership (AMP), a national collaboration between the government, industries, and universities to invest in cutting-edge technologies, create new jobs and bring about a renaissance in American manufacturing. This initiative is based on a report from the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology titled Ensuring American Leadership in Advanced Manufacturing.
