Robot designers at Kyoto University's
Robo-Garage
have developed
a
robot specifically for reading ancient Japanese Novels.
While producing audio for your listening pleasure, the one-foot tall
Murasaki-bot makes automated gestures to enhance the impact of timeless
stories. While only a Japanese-speaking prototype at this point, the
English-speaking world is anxiously awaiting a model to deliver Harry
Potter and other not-so-ancient texts.
