Cosmos 1 Solar Sail Vehicle

The Planetary Society's Cosmos 1 vehicle is scheduled for testing in April and launch later in the year. The vehicle will be launched from a Russian submarine in the Barents sea on a Russian Volna, a converted ICBM. The entire mission is expected to cost around $4 million. They've put up a web site with lots of cool info including detailed schematics of the vehicle design.
