To log out of Netflix on your current device, open the profile menu and select "Sign Out." To log out of all devices remotely, use a web browser to access my Netflix account settings and choose "Sign out of all devices."
How to log out of Netflix on a web browser
This is the quickest way to sign out of the current browser session and the only way to remotely sign out of devices you no longer have in hand.
- Go to Netflix.com and sign in.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select "Account" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll to the "Settings" section and click "Sign out of all devices."
- Confirm the action when prompted.
To sign out of only specific devices, use the "Manage Access and Devices" page in your Account settings. This page lists recently active devices, including device type, last watched date and time, and the most recent profile used. Click the down arrow next to a device and select "Sign Out" to remove it individually.

Use the mobile app's Settings menu to sign out of the app on your phone or tablet.
- Tap the "Settings" icon (usually three vertical dots) in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down and tap "Sign Out."

How to log out of Netflix on a smart TV or streaming device
The most reliable method for a TV or streaming stick is to use the "Manage Access and Devices" page on a web browser to remotely sign out of that device. This avoids navigating confusing on-screen menus.
- On a computer or phone, go to Netflix.com and sign in.
- Click your profile icon and select "Account."
- Find your smart TV or streaming device in the list.
- Click the down arrow next to it and select "Sign Out."

Use the controller to navigate the Netflix app's menu and sign out.
Xbox
- Open the Netflix app on your Xbox.
- Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the side menu.
- Go to the "Settings" tab and select "Log out."
- Select "Yes" to confirm.
PlayStation
- Open the Netflix app on your PlayStation.
- Press the "Options" button on your controller.
- Scroll down and select "Log out."

Nintendo Switch
- Open the Netflix app on your Nintendo Switch.
- Press the "X" button on your controller.
- Select "Settings," then scroll down and choose "Sign Out."
- Select "Yes" to confirm.
Securing your account after signing out
If you signed out of all devices because you suspect unauthorized access, you should change your Netflix password immediately. This prevents anyone with your old password from simply logging back in. If you do not have a Netflix account yet and want to get Netflix, you can sign up for a new subscription after securing your account. After selecting "Sign Out of All Devices," you will be prompted to confirm the action before it takes effect.
