Where Is My PayPal Link

where-is-my-paypal-link

Your PayPal link is your personal PayPal.Me URL, found in your PayPal account settings. This is the direct link you share so anyone can send you money, its format is PayPal.me/YourName, where "YourName" is your chosen username.

Your PayPal.Me link is a personalized URL that lets others send you money directly. To find it, log into your PayPal account and go to your profile or settings area. The link is displayed there as your active PayPal.Me address.

  1. Log in to your PayPal account using your email and password.
  2. Click on the settings or profile icon (usually a gear or your name).
  3. Your current PayPal.Me link will be shown, it will look like PayPal.me/YourUsername.

If you do not see a link there, you may not have created one yet.

How to create a PayPal.Me link if you don't have one

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Choose a username. It must contain only letters and numbers (A, Z, 0-9), be no longer than 20 characters, and cannot include symbols, dashes, or spaces.
  3. Confirm your selection. Your link is now active and free to use.

Once created, your link is immediately shareable. You can use this link to receive payments without the sender needing your email address.

Your PayPal.Me link is permanent, you cannot change or delete it after creation. You can only hide it from public view in your settings. You are limited to one PayPal.Me link per account. If you want to request a specific amount, add the number to the end of your link (for example, PayPal.me/YourName/25). This works for any amount you choose. To actually receive the money, you first need to add a bank account to PayPal so you can withdraw your balance. Note that if you have a PayPal business account, your PayPal.Me link can only accept Goods and Services payments.

These rules apply to all account types. If you ever need to use PayPal credit, you can do so separately through your account tools.

Sharing your PayPal link to receive money

Copy your PayPal.Me link from your account settings and paste it directly into a message, email, or your social media bio. No extra steps or marketing fluff needed, just share the link and let the sender click it to pay you. The link works immediately, and the sender will be prompted to log in or pay with their own PayPal account.
