Secondly, the TKL keyboard, whether they’re gaming keyboards or otherwise, is considered 80% or 87% keyboards. This is because they generally have 87 or 88 keys left after chopping off the number pad. That’s 80-87% of the original full-sized ones that have about 104-108 keys, depending on the country. Apart from function keys, the 60% keyboard also chops off the dedicated arrow keys. Like the F keys, you’ll have to use Fn + WASD to navigate the way you would with arrows. TKL Keyboard vs 40% Keyboard
