Before you start: eligibility for logging in to Hulu with Spotify

The Spotify Premium Student bundle typically includes Hulu (With Ads), and you cannot combine this offer with other Hulu plans or premium add-ons. Step 1: activate your Hulu subscription through Spotify
- Log in to your Spotify Premium for Students account on the Spotify website.
- Navigate to your account page and select "Activate Hulu" under "Account overview" or "Your Services".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to either create a new Hulu account or link an existing eligible Hulu account.
This activation step is required to link your Spotify and Hulu accounts. Without it, you cannot log in to Hulu using your Spotify credentials.
Step 2: log in to Hulu with your Spotify credentials
- Visit Hulu.com and click "Log In".
- Select "Log in with Spotify" from the login options.
- Enter your Spotify username and password to authenticate.
Once authenticated, you will be redirected to Hulu and can start streaming immediately.
Troubleshooting common login issues
If your existing Hulu account is billed through a third party (such as a cable provider or another bundle), you cannot link it to your Spotify Premium Student subscription. You will need to cancel that billing arrangement and create a new Hulu account or switch to direct Hulu billing. If the "Log in with Spotify" option fails, ensure you have completed the activation step in your Spotify account first.
