Before you sign in to Max with AT&T

- After signing in, you should have immediate access to Max content. If you are prompted to activate first, return to your myAT&T account and complete the activation step.
Which AT&T plans include Max?
Several legacy AT&T wireless and fiber internet plans included HBO Max, which is now Max. Eligible legacy wireless plans were AT&T Unlimited Elite, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Plus Enhanced, Unlimited Choice, Unlimited Choice II, Unlimited Choice Enhanced, and Unlimited &More Premium. On the fiber side, legacy AT&T Fiber Internet 1000, 2000, or 5000 plans purchased within specific date ranges (for example, Internet 1000 purchased between May 27, 2020, and June 5, 2022) also included the benefit. If you have one of these plans, you can get HBO Max for free with AT&T by activating the benefit and signing in as described above.
Troubleshooting Max sign-in problems with AT&T
If you cannot sign in, start by double-checking that you are entering the correct AT&T ID and password. If your credentials are correct but sign-in still fails, make sure the Max app is updated to the latest version. On a web browser, clearing your cache and cookies can resolve temporary glitches.
