Japanese Humanoids do Gymnastics Posted 23 Oct 2006 at 18:45 UTC by steve
Roland Piquepaille writes about a new humanoid robot that was shown off
recently doing a gymnastics performance. "According
to Robots Dreams, two Japanese companies, JR Robotics and Vstone,
have unveiled last week several programmable consumer robots able to
perform acrobatic moves and gymnastics. One of these robots, simply
named RB2000, is 11.5 inches tall (around 30 centimeters), weighs about
2.5 pounds (or slightly more than a kilogram), but can really do lots of
tricks. It should be available by December -- in Japan -- for a price to
be announced." For more info see Roland's blog or Robots
Dreams.

oops sorry robotS-dreams.com was the correct title for the website.
First thing I would probably want to do is add rubber soled shoes to it! They are like walking on ice they're sliding so much. Other than that, the robot is impressive! I like it.
