To watch SEC Network Plus (SECN+), you need to access the ESPN app and authenticate with a participating TV provider that includes SEC Network, or subscribe to the ESPN Unlimited plan. SECN+ is not a standalone subscription or a cable channel, so you cannot watch it directly or purchase it by itself.
What is SEC Network Plus and how to watch it
SEC Network Plus (SECN+) is a digital channel within the ESPN app that carries additional SEC games and live events. It is not a cable channel and will not be found in a standard TV guide or accessible with a TV antenna. You cannot subscribe to SEC Network Plus by itself. There are two ways to watch: authenticate with a TV provider that includes SEC Network, or subscribe to ESPN Unlimited. This same streaming approach lets you watch the ball drop without cable for New Year’s Eve.
Access SEC Network Plus with your TV provider
If you already have a cable, satellite, or live TV streaming subscription that includes the SEC Network, you can watch SECN+ at no extra cost. Follow these steps:
- Download the ESPN app on your device (smart TV, phone, tablet, or streaming player).
- Open the app and select the option to sign in or authenticate.
- Choose your TV provider from the list and enter your account credentials.
- Once authenticated, navigate to the SEC Network+ section to find live and on-demand events.
Access is granted by signing into the ESPN app with your TV provider credentials. If your provider includes SEC Network, you will automatically see SECN+ content in the app.
Supported TV providers for SEC Network Plus
Supported TV providers include Fubo, Sling, DIRECTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and other participating cable or satellite providers. For Fubo users, events can be found using the "Sports" or "Search" screens in the Fubo app. Only NCAA Football games appear as events within the Fubo app; other sports and studio programming are found in the ESPN app. For DIRECTV users, SECN+ games do not appear in the native DIRECTV app; you must download and use the ESPN app and sign in with your DIRECTV credentials.
Subscribe to ESPN Unlimited for direct access
ESPN Unlimited provides direct access to SECN+ without a separate TV provider. The plan costs $29.99 per month through September 16, 2026, and increases to $31.99 per month on September 17, 2026. The ESPN Unlimited plan includes SEC Network, SECN+, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network, and ACCNX inside the ESPN app. During activation, you may be prompted to connect your ESPN access to your MyDisney account. Note that ESPN Select (which is the subscription plan consisting entirely of ESPN+ content) by itself does not unlock SEC Network+. ESPN Unlimited subscribers receive access to all ESPN Select content, plus access to all of ESPN's networks and services, including SECN+.
How to find and watch SEC Network Plus streams
Navigate to the SEC Network+ stream for live and on-demand games or events. In the ESPN app, look for the SEC Network+ section or search for specific SEC games. The app is available on smart TVs, phones, tablets, streaming devices, and computers. If you want to watch fs1, you need a separate subscription or TV provider that carries that channel. If you want to watch ESPN with Disney Plus, note that Disney+ does not include ESPN content; you need a TV provider or ESPN Unlimited for SECN+ access.
SEC Network vs. SEC Network Plus: key differences
SEC Network is a live 24-hour television network, while SEC Network+ is a complementary digital platform providing hundreds of additional digital-only events through the ESPN App. SEC Network is a standard cable channel you can find in a TV guide; SECN+ is only available inside the ESPN app. ESPN Select does not include SECN+ access, so a standalone ESPN+ subscription will not unlock these games.
Watching replays instead of recording
SECN+ does not work like a regular cable channel, so you cannot record it in the same way. Games are available on replay on-demand in the ESPN app after the event ends, especially for ESPN Unlimited subscribers. To watch a past event, simply open the ESPN app, find the game in the SECN+ section, and select the replay option.
