What you can watch on Discovery Plus
Discovery Plus offers a wide range of real-life entertainment, including shows from popular networks like HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and Animal Planet. The service also features exclusive originals that you cannot find anywhere else. Whether you enjoy home renovation shows, cooking competitions, true crime documentaries, nature programs, or travel adventures, Discovery Plus provides a deep library of content to explore. This variety makes it a valuable add-on for anyone who loves non-fiction and lifestyle programming.
Important things to know about your subscription
When you subscribe to Discovery Plus through Amazon Prime Video Channels, you access all content exclusively within the Prime Video app or website. You cannot watch it using the standalone Discovery Plus app or website with this subscription. Additionally, a direct Discovery Plus subscription (purchased through the Discovery Plus app or website) is a separate account and does not automatically link to or grant access within Amazon Prime Video. This means you would need two separate subscriptions if you want to watch on both platforms. For the best value, consider whether you prefer to use the Prime Video interface or the Discovery Plus app before subscribing. Also, remember that your Amazon Prime membership itself includes other benefits like fast shipping and Prime Video, so adding Discovery Plus is a simple way to expand your streaming options. For example, you can use Grubhub with Amazon Prime to order dinner while you watch your favorite shows.
