Stair Climbing Robot Prototype

An iRobot engineer recently completed this stair climbing robot as part of his Masters thesis. While it is strictly a one-of-kind robot and not destined to be any sort of iRobot product, it's still a cool piece of work. This video was posted to the iRobot YouTube channel but they didn't provide either the engineer's name or a link to the thesis with all the fun technical info on the robot. Anyone know more about it?
