One such example is the Dota 2 hero, Sven. Likewise, in the world of LoL, Camille is a perfect example of a brawny tank that is capable of multiple roles. Today we will discuss the LoL champion Camille and how can you maximize your experience when playing as her. Here's your LoL champion guide for Camille. Who Is the LoL Champion Camille? Photo from League of Legends Camille is the principal intelligence operative of Clan Ferros, made to operate from beyond the law’s jurisdictions. Someone, after all, needs to keep Piltover’s progress and Zaun’s seedy underbelly running smoothly. She’s an incredibly adaptable woman, with great form and incredible precision. She views sloppy execution as a shame and will excise it when possible. Her pursuit of perfection and superiority has led to several augmentations that turn her into more machine than woman. Camille and Her Abilities in LoL https://www.youtube.com/watch?vYaNANTQH0zc Adaptive Defenses Camille’s next normal attack on an enemy champion will immediately create a shield. The shield is based on 20% of her max HP and lasts for 2 seconds. The shield will also block a specific damage type based on the type of damage a champion inflicts. So if you’re fighting an Ahri, the shield will block against Magic Damage. If you’re fighting a Nasus, your shield is going to block Physical Damage, and so on. Precision Control When used, Camille’s next normal attack has a windup that can’t be canceled. When struck, it adds extra physical damage to her attack and gives her extra movement speed for 1 second. After that attack, specifically after .25 seconds, she can recast Precision Control again with no mana cost within the next 3.5 seconds. When she does this, her next attack will have the same effects as the first one. However, she can delay the recast for at least 1.5 seconds to deal double damage. In addition to this, a percentage of that damage is turned into True Damage, from 40% to 100% based on Champion level. Notes: Based on the skill’s Level, Precision Control can deal from 20 to 40% additional Physical Damage. On the first Attack. On the second attack, given you wait a few seconds before doing so, the usual damage is doubled. Precision Control deals an additional 20/25/30/35/40% Physical Damage increase on the first attack. The second attack, when timed correctly, deals an additional 40/50/60/70/80% additional damage. Tactical Sweep Camille does a sweep with her bladed leg and deals physical damage to enemies within its cone strike range. For 1.1 seconds she charges the attack. In that interim, she can’t attack and is ghosted, meaning she passes through units. The sweep has an inner and outer cone when Camille does this ability. Enemies that are hit on the outer cone get additional damage as well as a decaying 80% slow that lasts for 2 seconds. The additional damage is capped to 300 when monsters or creeps are involved. In addition to this, when Camille hits an enemy champion or three with the outer cone, she’s healed by 100% of the damage dealt. Do note that this is after any type of mitigation, so cool your jets there hoping for a max HP from low HP happenings. Though those things do happen sometimes. Notes: Camille can still use other abilities while she’s casting Tactical Sweep. Monsters of the non-epic variety (Wolves, Blue Sentinels, Red Bramblebacks, et cetera), take an additional 50% damage from Tactical Sweep. Tactical Sweep deals 70/100/130/160/190 damage in addition to 60% bonus AD. In addition to this, the outer cone deals 6/6.5/7/7.5/8% plus an additional 3.3% for every 100 bonus AD of the target's maximum health. Hookshot and Wall Dive Camille fires her grapples in a target direction and dashes towards any terrain that it encounters. She will perch on said terrain for .75 seconds after that and gives her the ability to cast Wall Dive. Wall Dive will immediately release Camille from the terrain she’s perching from and dashes towards a target direction. When she lands, she’ll immediately deal a lot of physical damage to the landing zone. In addition to this, the range of Wall Dive is increased when she dashes to enemy Champions. One thing to take note of is the fact that if Camille hits an enemy Champion with Wall Dive, they’ll be stunned and knocked back. Camille will immediately stop Wall Dive to focus on the enemy Champion she collided with and the collision gives her bonus attack speed. Notes: Camille can be knocked down by crowd control effects that can immobilize when she’s dashing to the terrain. Abilities can be cast while Camille is in the middle of Hookshot and Wall Dive except for the Hextech Ultimatum. But only on Wall Dive. Wall Dive deals 60/95/130/165/200 damage plus an additional 75% bonus AD. It also gives Camille 40/45/5 /55/60% bonus Attack Speed when she hits an enemy Champion. The Hextech Ultimatum Camille leaps in the air towards a targeted enemy Champion and becomes un-targetable and immune to displacements while doing so. When she lands on said Champion, they’ll be revealed, as well as disrupted. In addition to this, any channeling that they’re doing is immediately disrupted. Any enemies have also been knocked away from the enemy champion Camille is targeting. Once Camille lands, a hexagonal zone will be formed around her and the enemy champion. Inside this zone, Camille will deal bonus magic damage on her normal attacks and the enemy champion can’t leave. Notes: The Zone lasts for 2.5/3.25/4 seconds. Camille’s basic attacks while on this zone are increased by 5/10/15 Magic Damage in addition to +4/6/8% of the enemy Champion’s current HP. The Ultimate will end within 1 second after Camille leaves the zone or dies. Here’s the list of runes that Camille uses: Resolve Grasp of the Undying Camille creates a stack every second for 3 seconds when she enters combat. She gains additional stacks when she re-enters combat after 2 seconds have passed. After 4 seconds have passed, Camille’s next basic attack within 6 seconds consumes all four stacks. She then deals 4% of her max HP as bonus magic damage. In addition, she’s healed for 2% of her max HP and gets 5 HP permanently. Shield Bash Camille gets 1 to 10 armor and magic resistance based on her current level. In addition, the moment she gets a Shield, her next normal attack against enemy champions deals 5 to 30 +1.5% her bonus HP and 8.5% her Shield HP as bonus adaptive damage. The moment that the shield disappears or is destroyed, Camille has 2 seconds to make use of Shield Bash’s buff. Bone Plating After Camille is damaged by an enemy champion, the next three attacks/abilities that they deal with Camille will have their damage reduced. This ability has a cooldown of 45 seconds and the damage reduction stacks will last for 1.5 seconds. Overgrowth For every eight monsters/enemy minions that die near Camille, she permanently gains 3 max HP. When she absorbs 120 monsters/enemy minions, she gets an additional 3.5% max HP. Inspiration Magical Footwear Camille gets the Slightly Magical Footwear when 12 minutes pass in-game. Every time she takes down an enemy through kills or assists she gets the item 45 seconds sooner. She can’t buy boots before this happens though. Biscuit Delivery Camille obtains a Total Biscuit of Everlasting Will every 2, 4, and 6 minutes. Eating it will regain 50 MP as well as increase Camille’s MP. She’ll also gain an increase when she sells the biscuit. Do note that Longsword will immediately build to Phage which helps Camille get Divine Sunderer early. Health Potion Standard HP regen item, necessary for lane staying power. Stealth Ward Very useful for Solo Top Camille as it allows her to ward out the various bushes on Top Lane. Early-Game Items Phage, Sheen, and Tiamat These three items are necessary for Camille as they give her good stats and build to her most important items. Phage and Sheen are items necessary for Divine Sunderer. Meanwhile, Tiamat builds to Ravenous Hydra, one of the best items for melee Champions. Divine Sunderer Gives Camille 35 extra damage, 400 HP, 20 Ability Haste, and the Spellblade passive. This gives Camille extra damage on her normal attacks immediately after she uses an ability. This means she can combo the damage numbers from several abilities at once when done correctly. Ravenous Hydra Gives Camille 65 extra damage, 20 ability haste, 10% Omnivamp, and the Cleave passive. Cleave allows Camille’s basic attacks to damage other enemies for up to 60% of the damage the enemy she attacks gets. Plated Steelcaps Gives Camille 20 additional armor and 45 movement speed. It also reduces damage from attacks coming to Camille by 12%. Late-Game Items Sterak’s Gage Gives Camille 50 bonus damage and 400 HP as well as the Bloodlust and Lifeline Passives. Bloodlust: dealing and taking damage gives a stack that restores 2% HP over 6 seconds. Stacks beyond the first heal will heal less HP. Bloodlust stacks five times. Lifeline: When Camille takes damage that reduces her HP to 30%, she gets a 100 HP shield. The shield’s HP increases by 8% of Camille’s max HP per Bloodlust stacks. Said shield lasts for 4 seconds and has a 1-minute cooldown. Death’s Dance Gives Camille 55 extra damage, 45 armor, 15 ability haste, and the Ignore Pain and Defy Passives. Ignore Pain: 35% of any Physical damage that’s dealt to Camille is applied in a 3-second interval. Defy: When Camille takes down a Champion (kills/assists) Ignore Pain’s remaining damage pool is cleansed. She also regains 15% HP over 2 seconds. Guardian Angel Gives Camille 40 extra damage, 40 armor, and the Saving Grace passive. Saving Grace: When Camille dies, she’s put on stasis for 4 seconds. After that, she’s revived with 50% HP and 30% MP. Saving Grace has a 5-minute cooldown. Situational LoL Items for Camille Hullbreaker Gives Camille 50 extra damage, 400 HP, 150% Base HP Regen, and the Boarding Party passive. Boarding Party: Camille gains 20-45 Armor/Magic Resist and 20% Increased tower damage if she’s not near allied Champions. Allied Minions also gain 60-135 Armor/Magic Resist and 200% increased tower damage. The buff that Boarding Party gives decays in 3 seconds if an allied Champion goes near Camille. Chempunk Chainsword Gives Camille 45 extra damage, 250 HP, 15 Ability Haste, and the Hackshorn passive. Hackshorn: When Camille deals physical damage to an enemy Champion she gives 40% Grievous Wounds to said Champion that lasts for 3 seconds. If said Champion has less than 50% HP, she gives 60% Grievous Wounds instead. Note: Grievous Wounds is a modifier that reduces the effectiveness of healing abilities/items. Spirit Visage Gives Camille 450 HP, 40 Magic Resist, 10 Ability Haste, 100% Base HP Regen and the Boundless Vitality passive. Boundless Vitality: All Healing and Shield effectiveness given to Camille is increased in potency by 25%. Wit’s End Gives Camille 40 extra damage, 40% Attack Speed, 50 Magic Resist, and the Fray passive. Fray: Camille’s attacks deal 15 to 80 Magic damage based on her current level when they hit. It also gives her 20 additional movement speed for 2 seconds. Thornmail Gives Camille 450 HP, 60 Armor, and the Thorns Passive. Thorns: When Camille is struck by an attack, the passive deals 10 +10% of her armor as magic damage on her attacker. It also gives the attacker 40% Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds if they’re an enemy Champion. When Camille immobilizes an enemy Champion, she’ll also inflict 60% Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds. Maw of Malmortius Gives Camille 50 extra damage, 50 Magic Resist, 15 Ability Haste, and the Lifeline passive. Lifeline: When Camille takes damage that reduces her HP to 30%, she gets a 200 HP shield. The shield’s HP increases by 20% of Camille’s max HP and blocks magic damage. The shield lasts for 5 seconds with a 1-minute cooldown. When to Pick Camille When Playing LoL Photo from League of Legends Camille is an incredibly fast Champion with a lot of solo kill potential. She’s very agile and difficult to pin down due to Hookshot and Wall Dive, and she’s a Champion that can snowball out of control fast. Picking Camille means you’re confident that you’ll take down your lane enemy and deal with other Champions on the other lanes. In addition, a farmed Camille is a nightmare to deal with. All of her items improve her survivability while also giving her damage. Still, if you’re confident in your game sense and your ability to turn fights in your favor, pick Camille. She’ll carry for you if you’re willing to put in the effort.
