Notes: Hello, My name is Denise Finnerty. I am currently a third year Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY. I am currently part of SME, Society of Manufacturing Engineers. We have done many robotic projects including a SUMO Robot and an RC Robot that was programmed through a GPS, Global Positioning System. We will be entering the Battlebots Competition on Comedy Central next November. I am interested in getting into doing more hooby work but haven't found a lead I'm really interested in yet. I subscribe to The Robot Store and a few others. I guess I should just get out there and start with something simple. I'm probabaly more interested in the hardware and design of robotics. Working with a place like Disney with animatronics would be something I would love to someday do.
