Notes:

I am new to robotics, but have lots of experience in electronics and mechanics. I have an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering and I'm currently a student pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Automation. For many years my hobby has been experimental aviation. I have built and flown several aircraft. I have built my own instrumentation using PIC processors as well as mechanical asssemblies and linkages of various types. I am currently employed as an Engineer at Harman Becker. I build and test audio transducers. At home I have a complete electronics shop and mechanical shop including a small mill and lathe. As you can tell I am not young. I am 53yrs old and have put four kids through college... I am going to school because I love to learn, and I finally have time to do it. A classmate and I have decided to start a robotics club at our school (ITT Tech. Indianapolis) We have secured funding from the school to purchase 3 robot kits to "seed" the program. We have chosen VEX robits. We hope to generate interest at our school to gather 15 or 20 others to participate. I am impressed with your website and the users therein.
