Notes: I have built a few robots, ranging in size from about 5 pounds up to 40. My main interest is in fine grained obstacle detction and landmark recognition via vision. I have also just completed a book with Dennis Clark (ed. Gordon McComb) due out in Late September, "Robot DNA: Building Robot Drive Trains". Part of the Robot DNA series. You can drive my web-teleoperated robot SuperREGIS around my office (or house, depending on where I have him): http://www.swampgas.com/robotics/rover.html Try to find the mirror, or get into the bathroom. It's more fun than a big bucket of herring!
