Notes:

Responsible for academic robotics in Microsoft Research, External Research & Programs group. In particular, I'm driving a program in using robotics to enhance the teaching of computer science. More widely, I'm responsible for embedded systems programs in my group -- please see my webpage for more information. I try to make most of the Seattle Robotics Society monthly meetings, so you might catch me there or at various academic robotics conferences. Outside work, I particularly like kit robots, so robots I've built include: ER1, Parallax Toddler, BoeBot and various SumoBots. I'm also hacking a couple of RC cars and a RoboSapien. I have an Aibo on loan from work.
