My company builds vehicles, mostly for various militaries, that are protected against landmines, blasts, and small arms fire. The US Army is putting a fair amount of energy into next generation fighting vehicles and robots. It makes no sense to build a robot that carries $10 million worth of electronics if that robot can be destroyed by a $10 landmine. So we are finding ourselves moved in the direction of robots. In addition, we have developed a small surveillance robot for law enforcement use.
