Notes:

First off, My background is manufacturing management (3 yrs engineering, and the rest experience) and (get this) a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Artificial intelligence and cognitive science (mostly physiological). I started tinkering with robots and such who knows when, since I loved artificial *anything* from childhood. In addition to basement tinkerings with autonomous and cognitive concepts, I started building robots for Battlebots in 2000. Since then I have built and competed in various events. In 2002, I started the Toronto Robot Fight Club (Canada), and we are running two events in 2002. As well, I am presenting several seminars and workshops for those interested in robotics. I also have developed my own line of robots and robot accessories which are available as of July 2002. Affordable, flexible feature rich platforms for the next step in home robotics, with more expansions and robots planned.
