Notes: I´been interested in robotics since I was 5 years old. in that time i built my first Robot from hard paper, a 1.5V "c" battery, a light bulb, and some old radio circuits for the fake insides. I´been doing some other mechanical gadgets on my childhood but my real first proyect was made for a control class back in my university days. It was a robot Arm made by plywood and used 5 servos for moving its joints. I did not have to much experience with programming in that time, so I made a control box with 5 potenciometers and 555 circuits that send the PW signals to the servos and power to the arm via a 7 line cable. right now I redesigned the old Arm and bought a scott edwards SCCII board to control now 4 servos via a serial interface to my laptop. Also I put inside a mark medonis power booster so I use only a 7.2 V rechargable battery from an old cell phone for powering up the arm. The reason of this proyect is merely educational and improving my skills on program algorithms. Also, I´m working right now on a new autonomous moving robot using two scrapted servos for motion, and a 68705 microcontroller for the control, I will add a camera and some sensor to make it a sourveying vehicule.
