Andy at the HideYourArms T-shirt blog has done it again, this time with a list of 101 robot t-shirts. Now every Roboticist can wearing robots as they build robots. Dale Wheat alerted us to Smoky the Nanobot's important message that only you can prevent grey goo. Meanwhile, over on LinkedIn, the presentation of an odd theory of consciousness (alternate PDF format), based on the OSI 7-layer network model, by Emile Michel Hobo prompted a strangely entertaining blog post by Abbe Boulah entitled, Bog-Hubert's Theory of Consciousness. As long as we're talking about consciousness, another robots.net reader pointed out Yoav Freund's interesting take on Nietzsche and the importance of consciousness to AI research. Finally, let's all welcome the addition of a new editor to robots.net, Carl Leonard aka Robominister. Yes, the very same Robominister who produces the excellent RobotCast video podcast on hobby robotics. He'll be posting updates here as he releases new podcasts, so stay tuned.
