The car-crushing, fire-breathing Robosaurus will be on the auction block Jan 2008 during the 37th annual Collector car event in Scottsdale, AZ. The giant T-Rex-looking robot was built in 1990 by Monster Robot, Inc of California and has wowed crowds for years by ripping apart cars with its 12-inch stainless steel teeth. Standing 40-foot tall and weighing in at 31-tons, Robosaurus's hydraulic actuators controlled by an operator in the cockpit head produce a crushing force of 24,000 pounds.
