| For those who watched the movie "Gladiator" this name
should not be new to you. Built by 3 micro-electronics "seniors" and ideas 50% from me, it was using a system similar to Elizabeth.Utilising huge sections of tracks and high torque DC motors, it provide loads of grip with mininal load to the motor. No-doubt its a sumo robot. Maximus was built for the Singapore robotic games and also for final year project(FYP).It was awarded a merit award for FYP but did not do as good as we thought in the competition due to some last minutes problems/changes.
