| This is my first attempt at a robot project. I dissected
an old R/C dump truck and used the chassis for the base
platform. Also I used the motor that controlled the dump
truck bed for a wireless camera control. The camera rotates
360 degrees, but I want to eventually adapt another motor
to it so I can control the camera UP and DOWN. I think this project would be ideal for using in areas that are inaccessible or difficult to access. Such as checking under a house or building. I did have some problems getting the camera mounted to the motor. The camera has a threaded tripod adapter on the bottom, so I found a bolt that screwed into it and put a plastic tubular adapter over it and allowed enough room on the other end to put it over the gear shaft of the motor. I want to eventually hook up an OOPIC controller I have to it. But I am a novice at the OOPIC, too. If anyone has some tips for me please feel free to contact me: b.m.robison@att.net |
