Cube is a robot designed for a Sumo-Robot contest. His function is to throw his oponent out of the game field. He is 20x20 cms, and 3.0 Kg, which were the maximum especifications of the contest. His brain is a Motorola 68hc11 microcontroler. He uses 4 Futaba servos. To detect the limits of the field he has 4 infrared sensors. He has also 6 contact sensors to detect his oponent. His force comes from a 12V (4000 mAh) battery thar weights 2 Kg (2/3 of the total of de robot) I needed more than one month to construct it. It was a difficult and hard work becouse I had a date to have it finished, the day of the contest. That day he won the contest (1st CONTEST OF SUMO-ROBOTS EUITT) but he is not very agressive, he only pushes when "somebody" pushes him. Email:
