At the beginning of '99 I discovered the microcontroller and its possibilities. It surprised me how easy things were put together. In a short period of time the idea of a six legged robot was born. Until now there is an idea with test prints and software. This creature will seek light to feed his battery with his attached solar. When he has found the best spot, it turns in sleep mode and chills. When the intensity of the light is to low or somewhere else is more light to be found,he will seek a new spot to relax. With his little brain he will learn little things to make the search for light easier. Since 18-12-2001 I not only redesigned the website into a new concept, but I also redesigned the robot I was making. The goal has been kept the same, but due to construction difficulties, I will first make a robot with six wheels instead of legs. This is done because I don't want to spent a lot of time constructing. I want to program, while I am an embedded software engineer! My new bot will have my own Real Time Kernel (A.T.A.K.) for multitasking.
