|Shaz is a mobile robot that performs home/office security,
floor cleaning, gas/fluid control, and remote data collecting.
Shaz communicates with a host or other robot via packet radio, and stereo video is broadcast over the 2.4GHz band. The tripod video source can be switched to a internal super-8 video recorder & playback.
Shaz uses a differential drive system with sonar rings to navigate thru its work space.
