Notes:

My primarary interest is in cognitive science: robotics (together with computer simulations) provides an ideal test- bed to model theories of human & animal perception, behaviour and cognition. My particular interests are Kalman filtering, reinforcement learning methods, active perception, partially observable Markov decision processes, kinematic modelling and hybrid neural network/"good old fashioned AI" control architectures.
