I haven't built any robots on my own - I'm more of a software guy. <p> There seems to be a thriving hobbyist community here - the question is, what designs will find their way into millions of homes? I think the robot hobbyist culture is similar to the one in the PC industry in the '70s (pre-PC, that is). Who will be the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs of the robotics industry?
