I began making a new site about robotics: http://goldinrobotics.bravepages.com Please e-mail me at g oldinrobotics@goldinrobotics.bravepages.com, and tell me what u think of it! Also, feel free to send me any information or pictures of your robots, that i can also add to my site! It really needs content! Thanks!
Hey! I recently updated my site, and still manage to update it very frequently. If anyone has robots that they want to share, please join my Bravenet SiteRing, and dont forget to add your link to my site (these are found at the bottom of the "Links" page on my site). The link to my site is above.
Gave up on my writer idea. I did manage to take a few pictures tho. They can be found at http://www.geo cities.com/simonthehappy Then u click the link labled "writer" on the left side. Also, i added a chatroom to my site. It is a blue recangle on the main screen (right side). Feel free to enter and exit it whenever you wish. Maybe you will even be there when i am there. Happy building and programming everyone!
I recently found out about http://www.hvwtech.com. It has great microcontrollers (such as the OOPIC and Basic Stamp), and mny other accessories. I hope to get the OOPIC II, if anyone has used it, please let me know if it's any good (you can e-mail me at sleepaholic88@hotmail.com or talk to me through AIM, my SN is sleepaholic88). Thanks.
A foolproof method for sculpting an elephant: first, get a
huge block of marble, then you chip away everything that
doesn't look like an elephant.
Whoever coined the phrase "Quiet as a mouse" has never
stepped on one.
Hehe, just found these rather amusing.
It is taking me pretty long time to complete the writer robot. Sorry for the delay. for some information about what it is now, go to http://www.geocities.com/simonthehappy/robotics/writer .robot. html. Have fun.
I recently recived the Cybug Scarab, along with nitinol wires and the Muscle Wires Project Book (ordered from the Robot Store). The scarab is a lttle screwed up, i hope to get it fixed soon.
I want to make a "real" (non-lego mindstorms) robot, but i don't no where to start. can anyone give me plans for a VERY (seriously) easy robot brain/"brawn"? Especially looking for plans for an easy base/platform. E-mail me. thanks!
Need more ideas for lego mindstorms robots! Your input is needed! E-Mail me. Thanx.
