First things first - I come from Bitola, Macedonia. A small landlocked country in the middle of the Balkan Peninsula in South-Eastern Europe. After the bloody break- up of the "utopian" fatherland of Yugoslavia, I landed in America for a better perspective.

In my childhood I was crazy about the Gungam Wing anime. It inspired me. It guided me! So marvelous and magnificent the mobile suits were that I had determined myself to someday learn robotics and design such Robots.

My educational career started in a small midwestern liberal arts collge with double major in Computer Science and Economics. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in Illinois.

Over the summer I will start fulfilling my dream as I embark on building LEGO Robots in a Computer Architecture course. Being the real foundation of my knowledge of robotcs I hope to undertake a master's project on remote control of a robot over a unsecure LAN.

I will keep posting information in my diary as I progress, thus sharing my experience with others.
