I work for NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology & the Arts), the organisation that invests in UK creativity and innovation. NESTA's mission is to support and promote talent, innovation and creativity in science, technology and the arts. Since May 2000 NESTA has made a total of more than 280 awards worth £34 million. We have funded a variety of robot-based projects, including the Shadow Robot Co, IceRobotics and Steve Grand, who is attempting to develop AI life through his robot Lucy. AM interested in sharing this with users, funding out what they think, and letting UK users know that we are here as a potential funding option.
