hi, scienceboy2. A Bee-party is going to be held for these boys . Nicolai writes "My teacher gave me no home work" a day before his 6th birthday. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I was trying to teach Nico last week about the fact that "2 times 6 is equal to 6 times 2 and is equal to 6 plus 6 and is equal to a dozen." I believe he thinks he understood it all. The trouble is that Nico is not good at remembering anything that is not quite funny or has a laugh in it for him.

hiback, boy. i hear ya. checked out a few books for my kids at the local library today. "The Abacus - a pocket computer", Mathematical olympiad contest problems for children by Dr. George Lenchner. A book for myself is "Theory of Graphs" by Oystein Ore. But i doubt if i have time to do any exercise on "theory of graphs". The book was written in 1960. I wonder if it has much to do with Andrew Wiles proof of Fermat's Last Theorem which gained my attention last weekend. And before that is the Four Color Map Conjecture. I am looking for theorems to help me find proof to my own conjecture - Ye Zi conjecture which is about the golden rule of computational GO.
