I have been pretty interested in robotics for my whole life.
However, it wasn't until I graduated college a few years ago
that I was able to indulge my curiosity.

I started in robotics by building a lot of kits and then
modifying them. I've built quite a few BEAM robots and a
couple of 'bots using the BASIC Stamp.

I only discovered robots.net a few months ago and I
decided that it's finally time to make an account. It's been
hard to network with other roboticists since I live in a
pretty remote area but I am hoping that robitics.net will
help out with that. I have also been giving presentations on
robot building at my university in hopes of getting others
excited about robotics.

My current project is to build a self-recharging,
BS2-based robot. I also recently built a sumo-bot and I am
hoping to get others at the university to compete with me.
Information and a web site will be up soon...
