There exist now a small version of the famous HRP-2
Promet Humanoid robot. It is called HRP-2M
choromet and is 33cm tall.

I saw it moving (I'm currently in Japan for research on
HRP-2) and it is really nice, much better then for example
the Kondo-robots. Also the walking is very stable.
The press release is only in
Japanse as is the technical info. Wihtin a few months you will able
to buy one. If I have more info in English then I will
post it.
The University of Delft has again created a splendid controlled passive walker called META, now powered by electric maxon motors. website with movies of META
I have put on our website a new movie of our biped
