Notes: Right now I am in the proccess of creating my first robot. I am very much in the learning atages as all I know of electronics and programming is very much sekf taught. I plan to go to college for my degree in electrical engineering and computer science. At the moment I'm using a book called applied robotics to teach myself the basics of it, and some books about electrical engineering. So far I have a small frame built, with 2 independantly driven motors and a swiveling tail wheel as my chasis. I've alsow wired on a bread board my powersupply and a basic stamp chip, In addition I made my own h bridge motor driver and am in the proccess of adding basic senses, touch, IR, light, sound and learing to program it with the stamp chip. I hope to be able to add ultra sound in the future and possibly make a robot with some practical applications (like mowing my lawn perhaps). I am always very intrested in learning more. At the moment I'm am intrested in both the software and the hardware, though I do know more about software than hardware. I can program in BASIC, VB, and java. I would very much like to be a part of this community, as I enjoy what I have done so far very much and hope that I can learn a lot here and hopefully be able to contribute myself the to feild in the future.
