Hello, I'm a retired soldier with extensive electronics and communications background. I currently own and operate a small electronics business Redman Electronic Systems in Lincolnton GA. I specialize in component level repair. I service Industrial electronics, Radio (commercial and amatuer) Computers and peripherals, and Electronic Surveillance systems. I got interested in robotics many years ago and finally decided to take the plunge and began working on projects for myself. I have not as yet entered anything in competition. I have greater interest in using my knowledge of electronics and robotics to promote greater interest in Science, Technology, and Engineering amoung the local kids. I currently subscribe to e-groups on Yahoo and TechRepublic as well as the Atlanta Hobby Robot Club. Learning what makes the current crop of robots tick and how to improve on current designs is probably what interests me the most.
