I bet some of you thought that I would never post again... HA! So I have a great idea that I have been working on. I think I am going to make a robot that is run on a linux system. I am wrinting the drivers now!! Whee. Linux is really fun by the way.

Well, it has been the duration of many months now; I believe it is time for another post. Just thought I would let you all know that I am starting a new robotics club in my town. It is the first one I believe that is located in Wisconsin. So anybody can email me for information on it. I welcome anyone in the area to come and enjoy the festivities!!@$!@%#%!^

So I have been in the mood to build a new bot. So I went American science and surplus and bought a few parts. With these parts and a couple of circuits I made I had a robot within a few days. This was the fastest I had ever built a bot. Of course it is pretty basic, with only one capability, which is a moving remote control for my television. I say the number and it changes the channel, the greatest thing is that it only responds to my voice. More later... Mad Scientist out!

Well everyone, the moment that I and all of you I am sure has finally arrived that is correct! I have finished my robot... It is awesome, there are pic.s of it on my website, which is currently down to to my server being GAY! On a more sad note, I will not be writing to this site for a year or so. The reasons are many and elaborate, but mostly it was because I got caught hacking... You may say "What he's only off for a year", I'd reply "Yes!" They let me off easy only because of my outstanding grades and because it was my firts offense. It may still look bad trying to get into MIT or some other place kickass like that, which I am most deffinitly trying to do but hey what can I say. Huuuzzzaaahh, another science fair... This time it is a little farther away from home, lets say 300 miles! i am competing in a state wide science fair!! I am hoping that my robot will be done by then, but if not I have a backup plan. I will not describe it now, but maybe in a few weeks... whence I have all of the kinks out. Wow, it has been a while since I have done anything on this site at all. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I have finished building my computer, and have begun the programming segment of my robot. Well okay that is about it. Oh one more thing... I won first place in a science competition for my laser experiment. I built a solid state laser, whose lasing medium was a heliem neon mixture, and I made it adjust from ifrared, all the way to visible on the light spectrum... needless to say it pwned! Hello, haven't posted in a while... Also have been busy with school. Nearly all advance placement classes (AP). Anyway, the main reason I am posting is because I'd like to tell everyone that I am half way done with my robot, now all that I need are some LED's, wheels, and text to voice modules. Not to mention the Sonar which I haven't decided to buy yet! I have also been working on this little thing I like to call a simulated laser. It uses a high intesity LED, a concave lense and a 9V battery. It works just like an HE+NE laser would (Helium, Neon). I have been experimenting with it, and I have found it to be really quite a neat hobby... especially learning about photons and stuff like that (EASY!!!!) hehehe! Anyway, Glad to post once again, and I will try to more often Thanks. Mad Sci.

I could really use information on some good ways on making advanced robots if anuyones has some. I have written many AI programs amd would like to apply an AI to a robot, but just am not exactly sure how. Oh and if you could please tell me some good places to get some good equipment??!! Thanks

Does anyone have any information on programming a robots brains chips and stuff like that... please let me know!
