The latest issue of Electronic Design includes three small Linux-related items that may be of interest to robot builders. First is a short account of uClinux and eCos being used by robots at the last Trinity contest. Next, an announcement that Timesys Linux has added support for the SuperH SH-4 and SH-5 RISC CPUs. And last, a short article with some details on uClinux and running it on MMU-less CPUs with minimal RAM.
