Newsfactor Network says that Real Time Linux is on the way to becoming the most widely used real time OS for embedded applications. And robotics is becoming one of the sexiest applications of embedded Linux. The article mentions the problems that Microsoft Windows CE is facing in the embedded field but the main focus is on the success that FSMLabs is having with their RTLinux product and their plans to add robotics-specific extensions to the future versions.
