I monitor a number of sources including newsgroups, XML/RSS services, and websites for major universities and research labs. users also submit stories using the "suggest a story" links. And we have two other editors, The Swirling Brain and Rog-a-matic who also search for stories and either forward them to me or sometimes post themselves.
