CNN Technology has a new article on the MTI Micro Fuel Cell. We've reported on micro power sources such fuel cells and hyrdogen micro turbines in the past but it looks like MTI is coming very close to a commercially available methanol fuel cell. They have prototypes and expect to be selling a production model by 2004. One of these things could power a robot much longer than conventional batteries.
