The latest issue of Lab Notes from Berkeley's Engineering department includes an article on the Berkeley Aerobot (BEAR), an automous robot helicopter. BEAR can fly, navigate, and locate objects on the ground autonomously. The primary researcher working on BEAR is T. John Koo.
