A release announcement for zprommer v2002.07.29 appeared on Freshmeat today. The zprommer software supports the very inexpensive Batronix E(E)PROM Programmer which until now was of limited use to robot builders because the Batronix software is closed-source and runs only under MS Windows. Zprommer is Free Software licensed under the GNU GPL and includes full C source code that can be compiled on Linux and other platforms.
