The latest Sandia Labs development is a vision sensor for a dog rather than a robot. They've developed a tiny dog collar video camera that transmits images to a hand-held video unit. The sensor kit can be used with existing search and rescue dogs. Apparently, some early versions of the video units were tested at the WTC site in September.
